John Barnard

BARNARD, John. b. Harrow, 20 Apr 1948. Educated at John Lyon School, Harrow, and Cambridge University, where he read Modern and Mediaeval Languages followed by a PGCE at Exeter University. He taught at Cheltenham Grammar School (1971-74); John Lyon School, Harrow (1974-2002); Godolphin and Latymer School, London (2003-04); and Aldenham School (2004- ). He holds an FRCO, and has been church organist at Cheltenham (Charlton Kings) and in the Greater London area. He was made an Associate of the Royal School of Church Music ‘in recognition of services to church music’.
